The CHCI 2019 Leadership Conference will bring together key partners and thought leaders from a wide range of sectors and industries to examine critical issues affecting the Latino community and our nation!
Join us for high-level, thoughtful discussions on civic engagement, the Latino identity, access to healthcare, workforce development and more, with panels featuring Members of Congress, corporate executives, community activists, educators, celebrities, media personalities, nonprofit leaders, CHCI program participants, and CHCI alumni! Together we can inspire positive social, economic and political change.
The Arts & Culture Reception serves as the cultural kick-off to a month-long, national celebration of the richness and diversity of Latino heritage. Join CHCI on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Ronald Reagan Building, Pavilion Room in Washington, D.C., for our premier networking event that showcases and celebrates the societal contributions in art, cuisine, and music of the Hispanic community to the United States.
CHCI and the CHCI Alumni Association (CHCI-AA) are hosting a special reception honoring Congressional Chiefs of Staff who have demonstrated their commitment to promoting diversity on Capitol Hill. For 2019, two chiefs of staff will be recognized for their pivotal role in ensuring that young Latinos are hired, offered opportunities to grow, and advance professionally. We congratulate them on their recognition – it takes leaders to bring forth leaders.
