Daphne Delgado, Senior Government Relations Manager, Trust for America’s Health (TFAH)
Daphne Delgado is the Trust for America’s Health (TFAH) Senior Government Relations Manager focusing on chronic disease prevention and control priorities, including obesity, physical activity, nutrition, public health funding, equity and social determinants of health. Prior to joining TFAH, Daphne advocated on behalf of community-based organizations at YMCA of the USA and for patients and caregivers at the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Additionally, she was the 2013-2014 Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Graduate Health Fellow for Rep. Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA) where she managed the passage of the Newborn Screening Reauthorization Act and the introduction of the Health Equity & Accountability Act, among other accomplishments.
Daphne has a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and minor in Biology from Duke University and a Master of Public Health in Health Behavior from University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. On most weekends, Daphne is outside enjoying DC’s beautiful waterways and hiking trails.
