Jason Llorenz, Vice President of Communication, Leadership for Educational Equity
Jason is VP for Communication at LEE. Before joining LEE, Jason was a senior fellow at the Rutgers University School of Communication & Information. In prior posts, he led national and state-level advocacy strategies on behalf of a national coalition of civil rights organizations as executive director of a national coalition. He has also served as senior policy advisor to the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators (NHCSL), representing more than 300 elected state representatives in advocacy on Capitol Hill and before federal agencies. A native of Brooklyn, Jason is a member of the New York State Bar. He earned a JD from the State University of New York at Buffalo and BA from Cazenovia College. When not developing impactful leaders, Jason is probably dancing. He’s a board member of the renowned DC Casineros Dance Company in Washington, DC. When not dancing, he may be hosting the Leader’s Table Podcast.
