Victor W. Gonzalez (Wally) joined Crowley Maritime Corporation in September 2013 and currently serves as Director, Government Supply Chain-Strategic Accounts. His operational focus is expanding Crowley Solutions’ enterprise across the Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal government agencies. In doing so, he assists customers in the development of transportation support strategies to meet their validated requirements, while supporting initiatives to reduce transportation costs and secure necessary capacity. Prior to his current position, he served as the Program Manager over Defense Freight Transportation Services, one of the largest general freight contracts in the world valued at $2.3 billion. The U.S. Transportation Command contract serves the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and Defense Contract Management Agency, with expansion to other federal agencies.

Prior to joining Crowley, Mr. Gonzalez served as the Government Operations Liaison for Coyote Logistics. He focused on the development of transportation support strategies facilitating federal agencies and DoD organizations on Coyote Logistics services in support of their requirements.

Upon his retirement from active duty in January 2007, Mr. Gonzalez joined Amyx in Northern Virginia. He initially began as a Senior Functional Analyst and later as Project Manager in support of the DLA Integrated Data Environment/Global Transportation Network Convergence Program. As Project Manager, he planned, directed and controlled the overall operational performance and management of the program’s support activities.

He later joined KForce Government Solutions as a Senior Logistics Consultant. He advised the DLA National Account Manager on logistics and supply matters impacting readiness of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other federal, state, and local agencies. In a collaborative environment, he developed strategic links between headquarters DLA and its field activities addressing customer’s requirements, providing the interface and liaison with DHS, and identifying potential business opportunities for integration with DLA’s logistics capabilities.
